East Anglian Sucklers is a farmer controlled group that exists to place
its members finished cattle with an abattoir with the aim of maximising
returns for producers. As we have moved away from production based
subsidies this is a key part of a successful beef enterprise. As the
name suggests we specialise in the marketing of suckler bred beef. We
were formed in 1993 out of a desire to find outlets for the high quality
suckler bred beef of East Anglia.
One feature of selling cattle through East Anglian Sucklers is that all
transactions with abattoirs are covered by credit insurance, giving
peace of mind to the seller.
Selling of stores on behalf of members is also undertaken to a variety
of buyers.
